| Customer Reviews: Hohner Hit!! June 22, 2009 Lady Carpenter 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I received this guitar as a gift several years ago. You simply cannot find a better guitar for the money. period. Not even close. The fretboard is extremely playable. The strings sit low - but if you want, you can raise them, as it even has an adjustable bridge. The tone on mine is superior to guitars costing 2 to 3 times as much, and to listen to it, you'd never think it was the size it is. It also stays in tune remarkably well. I had this guitar & a $500.00 acoustic-electric. I sold the other one, simply because this one played & sounded better, & I realized I never used the other anymore. You won't be disappointed.
Nice for Small Hands! May 22, 2010 Grey Reaser (USA) I just wanted a reaonably-priced guitar and this guitar sounds really nice and the price is right. After having it for about a month, I decided it was too small for me and I traded it in for a Jasmine Takamine. I am happier with the larger size of the fretboard and guitar. This Hohner guitar is really made for kids age 13 and younger and adults with very small hands. It is important to get a guitar that you are comfortable playing and get it set up by a pro at a guitar shop as well for the right action and playability. The one I had was set up by a guitar shop pro and the action was super low, as I like it, and it played beautifully.
